In response to the article, "PSU against illegal immigrant day," April 13, I am proud of Penn State President Graham Spanier for responding in a timely fashion to the College Republican's "Catch an Illegal Immigrant Game." I realize the College Republicans have their First Amendment rights and are free to hold this game if they choose. However, I find the College Republicans' techniques of educating the community distasteful and thoughtless. I wish the members of the group would take some time and think about their actions before going public with such ludicrous ideas.
