Showers ending early
Today's University Park forecast
Some heavy rain is likely today as a frontal boundary passes through the area, bringing widespread rain and potentially triggering some thunderstorms as well. The rain and storms should move out by the evening hours, with partly cloudy skies and comfortable temperatures in store for the start of the Easter weekend. On Easter Sunday, however, more showers may move in during the afternoon hours, so you may want to bring any Easter egg hunts indoors. These showers will continue overnight into Monday and will usher in cooler air to the region, with highs generally in the lower 60s for much of next week.
