Schwab Auditorium looked a little different last night, with extra police officers surrounding the building and a line of students hoping to be let in to a sold out audience with controversial author Salman Rushdie.

Undergraduate Student Government (USG) senators have begun adjusting to their new positions and continue to push forward with new legislation.

SPORTS

The pitching was on, the offense was rolling and the defense was flawless.

Momentum is a strange thing. It's with you one minute, then all of a sudden the other team has scored 10 runs and you're down seven.

Take a ride through Baltimore, where kids carry lacrosse sticks in favor of baseball bats.

As practice was winding down yesterday, the No. 18 Penn State women's lacrosse team (5-6) was working in three separate groups but focusing on one key element: shooting.

Sunlight poked through lace curtains and fell on a plate full of penne vodka. A dish of apple slices was next to the pasta and Alex Gutor sat hunched over the meal, stabbing at the penne and shoveling it into his mouth, before sipping apple juice from a tall glass to wash it down.
