Argument supporting gays no different than Preacher's

Gary Cattell's opinions disgust me, but so do Matthew Fallabel's. And they don't disgust me because of his pro-gay views, but because he is so involved in the fight that he cannot step back and see that he is just as bad as the Willard Preacher ("Preacher's words highlight views of bigotry toward gays," April 5).

Just like Cattell, Fallabel is forcing Penn State students to listen to his views and is ostracizing those who do not agree and follow. Yes, society needs to change and evolve, but no one has the right to force people to do so. We are all perfectly capable of assessing the facts and making our own decisions without Pride Weeks and religious rants. To be quite frank, Penn State is not a religious school or a forum for gay rights. It is an institution where many students come to learn, not to be harassed and forced to listen to the views that just do not belong on the grounds of Penn State.
