It's been seven episodes since Penn State alumus John Devenanzio was introduced as one of the seven strangers picked to live in a house and have their lives taped for MTV's The Real World: Key West.
In those seven weeks, viewers have been introduced to Tyler's blunt sarcasm, Svetlana's seemingly constant pout and the antics of Penn State's own "Johnny Bananas."
This week featured the cast's efforts to prepare for the opening of the tanning boutique, Mystic Tan, causing tension to build among the housemates.
Busy getting ready for the grand opening, several members of the cast take a trip to Pier 1, where Tyler takes over the decorating and, with the help of a few other cast members, turns the once empty building into a colorful work space.
After Paula and Svetlana undo all of their work, Tyler confronts Svetlana about her sneaky methods of getting things done her way.
It seems as though Zach has had enough of Svetlana's constant pouting, and after approaching her about the changes she made, she blows up at him.
It's possible that Svetlana's jealously of Zach becoming the business manager is coming between what seemed to be one of the closer friendships in the house.
In one of his more mature moves, Tyler hides the phone from Svetlana, forcing her to talk to him about the situation and cutting her off from calling her boyfriend to complain.
After the roommates erupt into a mini-battle, Zach tries to calm things down.
But later that night, the still-agitated Svetlana reveals to her boyfriend on the phone that she wants to go home.
Once again John steps up as the mediator, consoling Svetlana while telling her she needs to become more open to other people's ideas. This seems to calm the situation a little for the time being.
At the end of the show, Ricky, the cast's business partner, rallies the cast together for a pep talk.
He urged them to figure out how to work as a team to ensure the business is successful.
John ends the show expressing his concern about stubborn attitudes in the house interfering with the business. Although drama seemed to have its moments, this week's episode appeared to be more of a glimpse of things to come.
