Collegian opinion columns lack essential depth, insight

Once again, I find myself frustrated with The Daily Collegian's opinion page. Is the Collegian really printing yet another inane column that has nothing to do with actual campus life or current events? Everyone has a choice. You can choose to double major, triple minor and be president of three clubs and "overachieve," even if that supposedly takes away from your enjoyment of college life ("Overachievers miss out on college experience," March 29).

The Collegian can choose to print opinions that pertain to campus and real life issues, and I can choose to stop reading the opinion page until it contains worthwhile material.
