Letter to the Editor
Thon schedule changes will benefit event, kids

Change is not always a bad thing. As a senior, involved with Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (Thon) for four years, I have had the honor of working with the most unique, dedicated and loving individuals. And together we will make Thon 2007 the best, regardless of its new location at the Bryce Jordan Center and new ending time on Sunday ("Thon 2007 cut short for basketball," March 27).

Thon 2007 in the BJC will ensure the safety of Four Diamonds Fund families and will allow more room for spectators and more room on the dance floor for the weary dancers.

Together we will make Thon 2007 the best ever, despite ending the 48-hour tradition. We will establish new traditions, for the kids. The possibilities are endless.
