Man will face trial in knife threat case
A State College man who allegedly broke into an apartment and threatened a woman with a knife was bound over for trial yesterday.
Aaron Dillen, 22, of 10 Vairo Blvd., was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, terroristic threats and simple assault March 20. His burglary charge was dropped, but he will be tried on the other charges sometime this summer.
The victim, 28, told police that she found Dillen standing in the upstairs hallway of her apartment, located on the 700 block of West Westhall Road. Dillen demanded to know where the victim's roommate, his former girlfriend, was, according to the criminal complaint.
Dillen then allegedly pulled out a silver-colored knife and held it 2 to 3 inches from the victim's face and said, "If you don't tell me where she is, or if you call the police, I'm going to stab you." He then fled the scene and later turned himself in to the State College Police Department after a warrant for his arrest was issued.
