Today's University Park forecast
After last week’s unseasonably cool temperatures, this week has been
quite the contrast with highs reaching into the 50s and 60s. Weak high
pressure centered over the Carolinas will allow for mostly clear skies
tonight. The sunny and dry weather will persist into Friday as this same
high pressure moves to the northeast. Southerly winds will also bring us
the chance of highs topping 70 degrees by the end of the workweek.
Meanwhile, a cold front will be sliding through the country’s midsection
on Thursday and Friday. We can expect this cold front to bring us a
chance for thunderstorms on Friday evening.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
