A State College man was arrested yesterday after allegedly performing illegal sexual acts, including sex with a 14-year-old girl, since December.
Terry L. Dixon Jr., 28, of State College, was charged with two counts of statutory sexual assault and three counts of corruption of minors after the girl, who lived in the apartment above his, told police she had engaged in vaginal and oral sex with Dixon.
Dixon is also charged with three counts of indecent assault and two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim said she had sex with Dixon twice, and he also performed oral sex on her twice.
She told police he had kissed and "sexually touched" her on about five other occasions.
The victim told police the first incident occurred in December, and the last incident occurred at the end of February. She said the sexual acts happened when she visited Dixon's apartment to play with his 4-year-old daughter, according to the criminal complaint.
On Friday, Dixon told the State College Police Department he was having vaginal and oral sex with the victim. He also told police he knew the victim's age and had been friends with her and her mother for several years. According to court documents, he said he was like a "big brother or father figure" to her.
Dixon told police that when the victim visited his apartment, she approached him. According to the criminal complaint, Dixon said the first incident of vaginal and oral sex happened when the victim stayed with him while her mother took another child of hers to Hershey Medical Center for surgery in December.
Dixon was arraigned before Centre County District Justice Jonathan Grine and is in the Centre County Prison in lieu of $75,000 straight bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. next Wednesday at the Centre County Courthouse.
