Redifer Dining Commons in South Halls will look a little different when students return to campus next fall, with another sandwich line and an expanded, relocated coffee shop.

Faulty smoke alarms installed in the State College area will be replaced by a contractor who will be hired and paid by the parent company.

Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Academic Assembly passed legislation last night to not change the drop/add periods and to once again table last week's legislation regarding one of the Schreyer Honors College's scholarships.

Perhaps the powers that be at the Penn State Athletic Department knew what was coming -- or, more appropriately, what wasn't.

Last month, Gov. Ed Rendell released his annual budget for the 2006-07 fiscal year, which included $15.2 million in grants for the arts in Pennsylvania, an increase of $725,000 from last year's budget.
