Cloudy with a few sprinkles and flurries
Today's University Park forecast
Winter has returned once again for the Northeast after record high temperatures embraced the region on Monday. Any lingering lake effect snow showers today will be confined to areas north and west of State College, but windy conditions will prevail across the entire Commonwealth. Temperatures will remain seasonable for the next couple of days, before a cold front moves through late Thursday night into Friday morning. Light snow is possible with the passage of this front, but no major accumulations are expected. Cooler air behind this front will prevent highs from reaching 40 degrees on Friday and Saturday.
