Today's University Park forecast
An unseasonably warm day is in store for the region today as a result of
a vigorous southerly flow ahead of an approaching cold front. Highs
today in many areas throughout the state are expected to exceed 70
degrees. However, the threat of afternoon thunderstorms does exist, so
be weary. The sharp cold front will make its way through State College
during the late afternoon and evening, accompanied by showers and
thunderstorms. In its wake will be a return to more typical weather,
with scattered snow showers on Tuesday. Highs the rest of the week will
be in the upper 30s, so enjoy the warmth today while you can.
