Penn State President Graham Spanier will make another appearance before the Pa. Legislature today in his bid to increase state funding for the university's 2006-07 academic year.

One in four college women has survived a rape or a rape attempt since age 14.

The four Penn State greek councils will once again come together to discuss diversity during this year's Ebony and Ivory Week.

Pick a color -- black, white, brown, yellow, red or any color in between.

SPORTS

The program said it was Senior Day, but fans and players knew better. This was Travis Parker's time.

Most basketball fans are aware of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) and the fact that Penn State has a good chance of being there -- but few people understand the 40-team selection process.

The sign read that she was "Made of Steel." At many points Sunday afternoon, Penn State point guard Brianne O'Rourke had many believing it was true.

SCIHEALTH

What to do when you are traveling for spring break and suddenly come down with a mysterious rash, the flu or another ailment?

Penn State professors presented research last week that explored new methods of helping young children with communication disabilities to develop their language skills, including the use of special laptops.

Tim Reynolds, the guitarist most famous for his work with long-time friend Dave Matthews, will bring his musical prowess to Crowbar, 420 E. College Ave., tonight.

Think beads, bright colors, dancing, culture, theme parades and spirit -- only Mardi Gras comes to mind.
