Organizers of the Fraser Centre project spoke at a community forum last night where they received support and criticism concerning the price of the $32 million plan and the types of retailers that will occupy the space.

The University Park Allocations Committee (UPAC) plans to hold elections separate from the Undergraduate Student Government (USG), UPAC Chairman Keyur Shah said Tuesday.

Lifelong hunter Gary San Julian is taking aim at a new target this season -- creating a regional workshop by next fall to increase the number of hunters among fish and wildlife students at Penn State.

SPORTS

Penn State men's track and field coach Harry Groves has said that going to the Big Ten Championships is like going into a pit of lions, tigers and bears. The conference is so competitive that it is difficult to excel in any one event, let alone the multiple events it takes to win a championship.

When the Lady Icers look back on this season, they won't remember the tough losses or missed opportunities. Instead, they will hope to build for a stronger run in the future by focusing on the positives.

Blue-White Game set to be played April 22

Ending a season with a loss is always tough. Ending a season with a 7-6 loss in triple overtime to the University of North Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Championships could have been crushing to a weaker team, but not to the No. 11 Penn State women's lacrosse team.

Normally a team will schedule a couple of easier or "gimme" games to start a season, to boost the record and build confidence.

This was not what Ed DeChellis had in mind when practicing end-of-game scenarios with his Penn State men's basketball team.

After fielding her second question about Ohio State star Jessica Davenport, Penn State Lady Lions assistant coach Susan Robinson-Fruchtl decided that was enough talk about the Buckeyes.

This is it: the moment the Penn State men's swimming and diving team has been working for all year.

Penn State women's track and field coach Beth Alford-Sullivan isn't setting any lofty goals for her distance runners.

ARTS

Penn State students can experience a revival of the 19th century this Saturday at Eisenhower Auditorium through the sounds of the Philharmonic Orchestra.

Sex, wieners and boobs are coming to Penn State's No Refund Theatre (NRT) this week.

As the spring season approaches, the days are getting longer, and so are necklace styles. This season features necklaces with longer lengths, bright colors, dangling charms and lots of opportunities to mix and match.

Let's face it: Most of us college students aren't motivated enough to get to the White Building every day. Well, not to fret ladies and adventuresome gents. There is a sexy and seductive workout video that is sure to keep your interest, get your stomach tight and tone your thighs in time for spring break: Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease.

After having to cancel his show back in January, George Carlin will be performing at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Eisenhower Auditorium.

Fans of Dispatch lead singer Chad Stokes' voice do not have to wait for a reunion tour to see him perform. Stokes, along with his two other bandmates, who form State Radio, will be performing tonight at Crowbar, 420 E. Beaver Ave.

Art exhibits dedicated to the nude art form of a human figure are rare in State College.

For those students who believe cheese comes in just white or yellow and the most gourmet coffee flavor is French vanilla, there's a learning experience called the Cheese Shoppe, 234 E. Calder Way.

Anyone who's ever watched a VH1 special about hottest celebrity bodies knows that yoga hit the red carpet almost as hard as collagen and implants did.

During winter break, I finally mustered the energy to unpack boxes in my closet that hadn't been opened since we moved into my new house -- 10 years ago. It was there that I found my very first CD, Kris Kross' Totally Krossed Out.

Five national acts will converge in State College on Sunday.
