Kornberg explained the story line.
"It's a town overrun by hookers and gigolos, and there's a new sheriff in town that wants to put a stop to it," Kornberg said. "It's Sheriff Jack Greenberg, who wants to stop the brothels from polluting the town, versus evil Tad Theaterman, who owns all the boobs and wieners of the town. He runs the brothels."
However sexual this play might seem, Kornberg insisted that it doesn't merely focus on funny sex words or situations to get laughs.
"The entire joke isn't a big sex joke -- that's too easy, and they don't just go for the easy stuff all the time, which is good," Kornberg said.
Marsh also discussed the plot of the play.
"Basic idea: Small town New Jersey is overrun by a growing prostitution ring, but it strays," Marsh said.
Whatever characters the actors might be playing in SEX, a.k.a. Wieners and Boobs, they try to find their own ways of adding as much humor as possible to their performances.
"[The characters] bring a certain personali-tee, personali-tie to the show. It's our jobs as the characters in the play to bring that out," NRT member Dan Kirchheimer (sophomore-energy, business and finance) said.
The play is bizarre, unique and absolutely hilarious, Marsh said. Although it might not be for all audiences, he warned.
"I think it's going to be perfect for the college audience. I mean, you're not going to bring teachers or kids here, but it's hilarious," Marsh said.
Kelly Fitzpatrick and James P. Marsh rehearse a scene for NRT's production SEX, a.k.a. Wieners and Boobs.
The show is about a sherrif who tries to rid the town of its X-rated activities.
