Letter to the Editor
Postmaster should rethink moving 'Don the Mail Guy'

This letter is in response to the article, "University Park Post Office to replace 'Don the Mail Guy'," Feb. 15. During my six years here at Penn State, I have sent many packages and bought hundreds of stamps, all purchased at the University Park Post Office. The friendly service there can not be matched. Don Plotts and Mike Herr offer service with a smile and unforgettable, witty comments. If Plotts is reassigned, it will be a sad day for any Penn State student or faculty member who goes to the University Park Post Office to have their envelopes stamped and boxes weighted by the postal duo of Plotts and Herr.

I encourage the United States Postal Services Postmaster and the local American Postal Workers Union to keep Plotts working at the University Park Post Office.
