Recently, there's been talk about how the men's basketball team isn't receiving the fans support like it should be ("Basketball win over Illinois a bigger story than Steelers," Feb. 8). Well then, now you know how Penn State hockey fans feel. We only get a couple thousand people at the Icers games as well, but we don't have the luxury of being able to fit over 10,000 like they do at the Bryce Jordan Center. We also do not receive enough respect, as we deserve to compete at the NCAA Division 1 level. This doesn't have to be just a football school in the fall and basketball school in the spring; it should also be a hockey school for both seasons, because we all know the Icers deserve more credit than they get.
