One would think there would be one heck of a celebration in a campus where at least 50 percent of the students are Steelers fans, but boy was I wrong ("Thumbs Up: Steelers fans take to streets after big win," Feb. 6). A quick walk through downtown State College revealed one of the most laid back, lethargic celebrations I have witnessed. There was more excitement at my little brother's third birthday party. Their so-called Super Bowl "celebration" was equivalent to a preseason victory for the Eagles. One would think a Super Bowl victory for the Steelers would bring tears of joy, not E-A-G-L-E-S chants.
