Today's University Park forecast
The return of earmuffs, scarves and gloves is apparent across campus as
students bundle up to protect against the cold. The system responsible
for the abrupt return to winter is now spinning away to the northeast,
ushering in frigid, gusty winds. In its wake, mostly cloudy conditions
will affect the region, along with a few flurries. As the week
progresses, skies will clear for Tuesday but temperatures will remain
bitter. Dry conditions will persist through to the end of the week until
another system brings a blast of arctic air into the region. Winter has
returned.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service
