Fraternities exist to promote community, not degradation

I agree with the ban of Jell-O wrestling in fraternities ("Fraternities OK with dancer ban," Feb. 1). Even though this act might be voluntary for the participants, most of the time the woman are intoxicated anyway, which alters their decision-making process. I thought fraternities existed to promote community, not to degrade people, especially women, for entertainment. Yes, you can throw parties and have socials, but why do you need to disrespect or degrade woman for entertainment? What an example you set. It's disgusting.
