Sororities should mobilize; lobby to move off campus
This is in response to Kate McGinley's letter about sororities living off campus ("Off-campus living not option for Panhellenic sororities," Jan. 25). You emphasize that sororities "provide a supportive atmosphere for hundreds of Penn State women." In all seriousness, is sitting at the HUB complaining about Emily Yarbrough's opinion helping you move off campus? The answer is no. You also state that "we would love to have our own houses, but the university and Panhellenic Council will not allow just one chapter to move off campus." Why not at least attempt to join up with several other sororities and see if you can move off campus together? Writing to The Daily Collegian and complaining about Yarbrough's opinion of sororities will never accomplish anything. Luke Stedrak
