Skies becoming partly sunny by late afternoon with cooler temperatures.
Today's University Park forecast
Sunny conditions will persist through today, with temperatures continuing to rise further into the 40s, well above seasonable averages. Clouds and potential afternoon showers will enter into the picture on Saturday during the afternoon hours. This will cause temperatures to drop throughout the afternoon as winds shift to bring colder air out of the northwest. A reinforcing shot of cold air will follow another storm system scheduled to arrive on Monday, bringing temperatures for next week down towards seasonal levels, with highs in the mid-30s.
