Today's University Park forecast
For the first time since late November, the daily rainfall total may
exceed the one inch mark. The potentially flooding rains can be
attributed to a low pressure system making its way northeast across New
England. A cold front associated with this system will move through the
state during the late morning hours resulting in a change over to snow
showers. Snow will end during midday, giving way to strong winds and
mostly sunny skies. Accumulations will not exceed one inch. Look for a
return to milder and more pleasant conditions for the remainder of the
week, with the possibility of some rain showers by next weekend.
