I am ecstatic that The Daily Collegian is reporting on local musicians ("Earth Tunes," Jan. 11). The artistic scene in State College is vastly expanding and it is wonderful to see young, talented bands get exposure in the community. I am excited to read future articles on the Northern Shovelers.
