Letter to the Editor
Countries outside U.S. have right to nuclear technology

All countries, especially developing countries, have a right to peaceful nuclear technologies.

To deny any country the right to produce electricity through nuclear means would be hypocritical and ignorant. To continue pursuing policies that give us advantages over other countries, whether they be economical, social or political, and at the same time denying these countries the same rights is not only detrimental to ourselves, but to the entire world as well. For the safety and health of future generations I hope that the U.S. government will start to value human life more than politics and will begin to address the problems of all peoples equally, and not place emphasis on the problems that only affect us financially.

War is no longer a viable option and if we continue to use lethal force to promote our policies and agendas in other countries, it will adversely affect us. I hope that you'll listen to what I've said as it reflects the thoughts and opinions of millions of our people as well as people all over the world. I hope we can work together toward a brighter and equal future.
