The success of the 2005 Penn State football team is a source of pride for Penn Staters everywhere, ("Unlikely players carry Lions over Seminoles," Jan. 4). What I find especially gratifying is the national television sports announcers saying that the Penn State student section is the best in the country. This has a positive impact on how others view Penn State, not the least of whom are potential recruits.

There does not seem to be any hesitation when it comes to criticizing student behavior, so such positive behavior also should be recognized. Congratulations to all and keep up the good work.
