Ernie Fong needs to realize that there are a very limited number of tickets available for the bowl game ("Not all student fans have season tickets," Dec. 8).

The university needs some method of trimming down the number of people eligible to buy them. Season ticket holders are the obvious choice for entitlement to buy these coveted FedEx Orange Bowl tickets.

Let's face it: If people didn't buy season tickets, they'd probably just sell their Orange Bowl tickets on eBay for a profit.
