Letter to the Editor
Icers team capable of Division I status
The excellent performance by the Penn State ACHA Division I Icers should make the Penn State athletic department consider entering the team in NCAA Division I competition sometime in the near future ("Icers extend winning streak to 8 games," Dec. 5).
As a former Canadian high school player long ago, I would have relished a chance to apply for a hockey scholarship at Penn State. Icers Coach Joe Battista could well coach at that level.
