Police Log

Criminal Mischief: A Pollock Halls housing staff member reported that someone damaged several ceiling tiles on Shunk Hall's sixth floor between 3 and 5 a.m. Sunday, Penn State University Police said. Damage is estimated at $400, police said.

Criminal Mischief: A Pollock Halls housing staff member reported a television was damaged in the Pollock Commons recreation room between 2:30 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Penn State University Police said. Damage is estimated at $300, police said.

Simple Assault/Harassment: A student reported being assaulted by two known women near the Pollock Halls commons desk between 3 and 4 a.m. Sunday, Penn State University Police said. The victim did not seek medical treatment, police said.

Theft: A student reported that her purse and its contents were stolen from a fourth floor Haller Hall room between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday, Penn State University Police said. The purse contained a digital camera, a digital camera picture memory card, makeup, a small amount of cash and some jewelry, university police said. The value of the loss is estimated at $1,175.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
