Today's University Park forecast
In the wake of a front that gave us some snow over the weekend, high
pressure will set in to the region, keeping us mostly free from any
significant precipitation on Monday. The threat for snow, however,
increases as a disturbance slowly progresses up the coast. Moisture from
this system will mix with cold air already in place, giving us the
greatest threat of snow Monday night into Tuesday. It is only with the
passing of this disturbance that the State College area will stay away
from any showers late this week into the weekend. Unseasonably cold
temperatures will remain as high pressure dominates the region.
