Skies becoming partly sunny by late afternoon with cooler temperatures.
Today's University Park forecast
Yesterday’s deluge of rain finally came to a close last night allowing the area to dry, but not before two inches of wind-whipped rain had drenched State College. Unfortunately, with the rain go the warm temperatures as the winter jackets will be making an appropriate reappearance. Conditions should remain relatively cool with a chance for a snow shower Thursday night. The temperatures will dip further below average for the rest of the week while remaining mostly sunny. The next chance for significant precipitation will be late Sunday, and the temperatures may be cold enough for snow.
