Bowl ticket changes will benefit scalpers

In response to the article "Tickets to be allotted by lottery," Nov. 29, Penn State doesn't care about loyalty or dedication. Aside from the fact that many of the dedicated members of Paternoville might not receive tickets to the bowl game, this new system will dramatically increase the amount of illegal scalping that will occur from students who would not have camped out for their tickets.

When I have to spend an entire day inside the BJC clinging to a small chance of getting a ticket, I am telling my professors to complain to the athletic department. The camping is going to continue; we are determined to get the university to think clearly on this issue. No matter what happens I will cheer my loudest for the Nittany Lions during their bowl game.

I only hope the university realizes the mistake being made so I can do it in the stadium instead of my home while those able to pay $600 for a ticket are sitting quietly at the game.
