Today's University Park forecast
Wintery weather returns today as an intensifying Nor’easter skirts
through the East Coast. Light snow showers will fall mainly in the
central and western part of the commonwealth, while the eastern half of
the state will be dealing with
continuous rain showers. When this potent storm disturbance exits the
northeast, fresh cold air from Canada will be draining southwards into
the Mid-Atlantic regions. Thus, State College residents will be dealing
with brisk and snowy conditions for the rest of the week. Mostly cloudy
skies will continue to stick around the region, while northwestern
Pennsylvania will be dealing with lake-effect snow.
