Increasing clouds. High 53
Today's University Park forecast
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, a travel threat looms in the form of a potent storm expected to develop along the eastern seaboard Tuesday and Wednesday. State College will likely miss out on most of the heavy snow, perhaps entirely. However, inland locations such as Albany, Scranton, and Allentown face the possibility of a significant snowstorm. Even larger cities such as Philadelphia and New York could see snow as cold air rushes south from Hudson Bay Tuesday night. Temperatures will remain cold, and a new disturbance from Canada may threaten the area with snow on Thanksgiving Day.
