Concert far from boring as review describes it
I am writing in response Paul Thompson's review, "Heavenly Voice not enough," Nov. 18. I do not want to start an argument, but I would like to give credit to Alison Krauss and the Union Station along with Jerry Douglas. First off, we were not at a Metallica concert; this was a slower country/bluegrass concert. To call the concert "the most boring concert I've seen in years" makes me wonder if he was at the same concert as me. Alison Krauss has a beautiful voice, and Union Station and Jerry Douglas are extremely talented. It was an excellent show to attend. I think I can say everybody around me thoroughly enjoyed the show and to describe it as "boring" is far from the truth. Greg Pitchford
