I have been reading Thomas Mei's columns since the beginning of the semester and I find it rather comical how much he seems to offend people. Every week, readers feel the need to write to The Daily Collegian with some sort of negative opinion about him. I think the important thing we need to remember is that Mei is writing an opinion column.

So go ahead and have a chuckle over what says, go ahead and disagree with him, but at least give him credit for saying what he truly feels. You can't deny that he has done a great job of getting a rise out of the readership.
