Most students enjoy all aspects of PSU
I am sick and tired of Thomas Mei's columns ("PSU pride should continue through thick and thin." Nov. 16). I graduated last May and every day I wish I could be back at Penn State. That's right. I would give up my paycheck and pay to be a student again. University Park is an amazing and beautiful campus. Fall break is great because any break is great. So what if you go out with your friends instead of studying; when you are in college live it up while you're there because once you're in the real world, "Thirsty Thursday" doesn't exist. Thon kids need as much help as they can get; they have cancer, and that costs a lot of money to treat. We dedicate ourselves to a single cause because when we work together as a campus we end up with the most successful student-run philanthropic event in the world. And a Penn State bandwagon? Anyone who has gone to a game in the last 4 years knows we come early, stay late and spend every Saturday with 106,000 of our best friends. So Mei: I was proud to be a student at University Park, partied my ass off during my fall break, will always be for the kids, and will scream "We are Penn State" even if we haven't won a single game all season. If you aren't happy here, then leave. Josh Hopp
