Police Log

Criminal Mischief: A tree on the west side of Atherton Hall was damaged late Wednesday or early yesterday, Penn State University Police said. It looked as though someone jumped on top of the tree, which was 2 feet tall, and broke off several limbs, police said. The tree will cost about $600 to replace, police said.

Criminal Trespass: A Hibbs Hall resident reported that a man kicked in a ground-level window and climbed into the building at about 4 a.m. yesterday, Penn State University Police said. A search of the hall failed to locate the individual, police said. The window damage is estimated to be worth about $100.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
