Students should stop committing crimes
I disagree with Kelly Chubb (and others) who wrote in to say Penn State University Police have gone too far by "invading" a public Web site to help them catch those who rushed the field ("Police action drastic; should let rushers go," Nov. 14). However, she has a great point: "What's next? Are they going to start going through the drinking groups and see how many members are actually 21?" Yes! The police should definitely do this to catch underage drinkers. It is good that students are worried about the police using Facebook.com to catch them committing crimes. But the true test is whether or not this changes their behavior. Is this just another convenient topic to complain and moan about or will students stop posting pictures and writing about illegal activities in which they participate? Somehow I doubt the student body will give up the chance to complain about being caught legally for something illegal such as underage drinking. Michele Rosenfeld
