The State College Police Department is investigating an assault that took place at about 2 a.m. Saturday on the sixth floor of Beaver Hill apartments, 340 E. Beaver Ave.

Police said the victim and his friends had a dispute with two men in the sixth floor hallway. A third man hit the victim and pushed him into the wall. The victim was injured and transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment.

Anyone with information is asked to call the State College Police Department at 234-7150. A reward is being offered for any information that might lead to an arrest. Police said anyone arrested would be charged with simple assault.
