Police Log

Simple Assault: A Mount Nittany Medical Center emergency department staff member reported that a student was being treated for a minor injury sustained at about 2 a.m. Friday during a physical altercation at Hartranft Hall, Penn State University Police said.

Theft: A student reported that his bicycle was stolen between 2:30 and 11 p.m. Wednesday from the east side of Ewing Hall, Penn State University Police said. The bicycle is valued at $300.

Theft: A student reported that his bicycle was stolen between 4:30 p.m. Thursday and 6 p.m. Saturday from Shunk Hall, Penn State University Police said. The bicycle's value is $750.

Theft: A 1995 red Toyota Corolla was stolen sometime late Saturday or early yesterday morning from 254 S. Burrowes St., the State College Police Department said. The value of the car is unknown, police said, adding that they have no leads at this time.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
