Police searching for robbery suspect

The State College Police Department is looking for a man they believe stole another man's wallet at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 400 block of Clay Lane.

The victim said it was raining heavily at the time of the robbery, and he was walking and listening to music.

According to police, the man pushed the victim against the wall, took the victim's wallet, which contained $24, and yelled at him for not having more money. The man fled on foot toward West College Avenue.

The man is described as being about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He wore a black leather jacket and blue jeans.

The victim was not injured and was unsure if the man had a weapon. Police said the victim recovered his wallet, without the money, a few blocks away. There are no suspects at this time.
