Letter to the Editor
Feminism works toward a more perfect society

Surely you didn't mean to imply that women think free drinks are better than equal pay in your column, Scott Dimmich ("Feminist society would dissatisfy many women, Nov. 8)? Yes, I'll gladly accept only 78 percent of what men earn just so they'll open doors for me. I am, however, bisexual, and getting two feminists together on a date is dangerous. Restaurants get angry because neither of us will pay and doors don't get opened due to our lack of chivalry. Imagine our embarrassment when all we do is stare at the door, since feminists can't open them.

I'm not offended by your misogynist views. It's OK that you forgot to mention that in places like Mexico, factories can be up to 70 percent women workers -- this is because it's such a feminist society. I am sorry for you because it sounds like you've just been dumped.
