Tuition money a waste in pursuing trespassers

Once again, Penn State Police Services has amazed me with its ineptitude. Unable to manage the crowd at the Ohio State game, it has resorted to using Facebook.com to catch people who rushed the field ("Site used to aid investigations," Nov. 10). A most credible source indeed.

I love how our tuition dollars are used to finance a police force that spends time perusing the Internet to search for trespassers. Perhaps the police should look into using sites such as MySpace and LiveJournal while they are at it so they can learn not only about my alleged illicit adventures onto the field at Beaver Stadium, but also about whom I am dating and what classes I'm taking. If this is how our money is being spent, then I think they should all be fired and replaced.
