Administrators at Dickinson Law School are considering moving roughly 60 students to University Park next year to accommodate construction at its Carlisle campus.

Some State College Borough Council members said that despite an enthusiastic campaign, Josh Troxell couldn't match the name recognition and experience of re-elected Mayor Bill Welch. The new council is expected to transition smoothly and continue to work well with Welch, some members said.

Democrats will overtake State College's Republican-dominated council this January, but old and newly elected members say that party affiliation doesn't matter for their roles.

State College Borough Council approved a new zoning district this week that allows for a proposed 140-foot cineplex, condo and retail building downtown.

Until he graduated from Yale, John Keddie didn't know just how much he agreed with Office Space's Peter Gibbon's aversion to corporate cubicle jobs.
