Police Log

Criminal Mischief: An unknown individual painted a sign outside the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center sometime late Monday into early Tuesday, Penn State University Police said. University Police Supervisor Frank Ball said he was unsure what the graffiti depicted at press time yesterday, although he believed it ended in the word "ville." He said the police do not think the graffiti had anti-religious connotations.

Theft: A laptop computer was stolen from the Materials Research Institute Building sometime between noon and 4 p.m. Monday, Penn State University Police said. The laptop, which was outside the building's mailroom, is worth about $2,000.

Theft: A visitor attending the Nov. 5 Wisconsin football game had his wallet stolen at about 4 p.m., Penn State University Police said. The wallet contained $680 in cash.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
