This year Beaver Stadium made changes in how seniors were admitted to football games. The old system, one that made sense, involved giving the coupon at the front gate and in exchange receiving a ticket with the seat number on it. Now seniors are admitted at the gate, have to wait in line again in the stairways, and then exchange their coupon at the top for a ticket with the seat number.
Making students wait in line twice is inconvenient on many levels. After getting into the stadium, a lot of people like to go get something from the concession stands or use the bathroom. Now we have to get admitted once, wait in another line, get a ticket, then go back out to get a snack, then go back and wait in line, and finally get to our seat.
I see nothing beneficial with this new system, and hope for the sake of the students this is changed for next year.
