Workers demolish the State Theatre's interior and parts of its outside. The theater, 128 W. College Ave., is being renovated after years of fundraising. It closed in 2001 and is scheduled to reopen in August 2006 as a local venue for troupes and shows. The theater could bring an additional $7 million in revenue to the downtown.
