Today's University Park forecast
State College missed the severe thunderstorms that went through central
Pennsylvania on Sunday. We will, however, join the rest of the state in
starting the work week with some pleasant weather. High pressure to our
south will keep unseasonably warm air flowing into our region, with
highs reaching the upper 50s and lower 60s. Not until later in the week
will there be a chance for precipitation as a front associated with a
weakening low pressure system will pass through the area. This front
will bring with it a good chance for showers and more seasonable
temperatures behind it.
